City Hall/Hotel Estacada
The Estacada Hotel and adjoining Portland Restaurant was built in 1903 between Main & Broadway Street. During the Great Depression of the 1930’s the building was demolished and the Works Progress Administration constructed the brick building on the site that houses Estacada City Hall to this day.
Estacada Park
The Estacada Park was about where the Community Center is on Club House Drive. It was a relaxing park for fishing, picnicking and sometimes even ice skating.
Chevy & Ford Garage
The Ford & Chevy garages were located next to each other at the bottom of Main St. where Ace Hardware & 300 Main is now located.
Estacada Telephone & Telegraph Co
The company started in 1905 by 5 local entrepreneurs. In 1925 the ownership consolidated to the family that still operates the company under the name Reliance Connects to this day. The current Reliance Connects office building on the corner of 3rd & South Broadway Street used to be the U.S. Post Office.
Mason Building
The Mason Building was built in 1924 and has been home to many business throughout the years including the Broadway Theater in an east portion of the building that collapsed in 1995 and was turned into parking spaces. The building was restored in 2006.
River Mill Dam
Estacada Lake was formed In 1911 when River Mill Dam came online with the first three generators. Two additional generators were installed in 1927 and 1952 to increase power output.
